Up For Air

2010 continues its crazy pace, as teaching every quarter, two long-delayed family vacations, launching two books, and (most painfully) taking over as Chair of the Department have tested my ductility. Interesting times, as they say. The Cambridge book is now out on shelves and UCLA Today did a nice write-up. I’ll be going up to the Foley Center at Washington State University later this month to talk about it and the 2010 election, and then I’ll be presenting War Stories at an ISA panel in Montreal early next year. I’m fortunate to have brought a talented grad student (Noah Grand) onto the press partisanship project, along with some experienced undergraduate RAs, so that project continues to move along. Hopefully my schedule will clear up a bit in 2011, but I’ve told myself that lie before.
